At Sawbones, we’re proud to stand with our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, friends, and community members—not just during Pride Month, but every day of the year. We believe that inclusion, respect, and representation make our workplace and our world stronger.

This June, we’re celebrating Pride Month by continuing to foster a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. We invite all team members and partners to take part in events and activities that recognize the contributions and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Together, let’s celebrate diversity, promote equality, and show up as allies in meaningful ways.

How We Support Our LGBTQIA+ Community

We take pride in our ongoing efforts to support our LGBTQIA+ employees, customers, and community members.

Here’s how we are making a difference:

Inclusive Workplace Policies: We ensure our workplace policies promote equality and inclusion, providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Community Partnerships: We partner with local LGBTQIA+ ally organizations to support their initiatives and amplify their voices.

Diversity Training: Regular training sessions help educate our team about LGBTQIA+ issues, fostering a culture of understanding and respect.

"I first moved to Vashon twenty-three years ago and fell in love with its strong sense of community and acceptance for all who live here. We are fortunate to call this Island home and this company, Sawbones, a place that embraces diversity, equality, accessibility, and genuine care and compassion for each person who walks through our doors. This month, we celebrate Pride, our LGBTQIA+ community, and everything they contribute to our culture and to our company.

Thank you for enriching our lived experience." - Norine Martinsen, CEO
