Machine Maintenance Mechanic III

Shift - 4 Tens, 40 hours, schedule TBD. 
(Starting Wage: $30 - $40 per hour - DOE)

 

SUMMARY: 

Advanced level maintenance mechanic.  Specific skills include mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, and electrical.  Duties include installation, maintenance, and repair of production or processing equipment.  May fabricate machine parts, install/repair conveyers, replace motors, tear down or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection or distribution equipment, or repair electro-mechanical equipment.  Perform advanced-level troubleshooting, work in collaboration with the team, and may provide training to less experienced maintenance staff. This is a role that provides a great diversity of experience, creative thinking, and exposure to skills/machinery on many levels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments, Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance and service. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1 - 2 years of technical training and 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent. Able to do electrical work, program computers in manufacturing, and follow safety regulations. Technical knowledge and ability to maintain production and facilities equipment, knowledge and ability to use machine shop tools such as lathes, drill presses, mills, welding equipment, knowledge of basic shop safety, ability to work safely, ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to frequently grasp, open, close, and move tools using hands and wrists, ability  to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. and frequently lift up to approximately 30 lbs., ability to  constantly stand, ability to frequently walk, ability to push, pull, pry, bend, squat and reach throughout the shift, ability to frequently see up close, peripherally and have depth perception, ability to hear and discern specific sounds, ability to attend to detail, ability to adapt during unpredictable situations, ability to work independently, ability to complete daily task list, ability to understand and use different types of basic computers and touch screens, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with adhesives, possess technical and mechanical curiosity, possess high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older.

Shipper/Receiver

Tuesday-Friday 6:30a.m. - 4:30p.m.

SUMMARY: 

Responsible for making sure all products are correctly shipped.  Performs final Q.C. check on items packed.  Responsible for some video jetting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform final QC on parts; Pack parts to prevent breakage; Check orders on the board and pick those due.  Help maintain accurate inventory. Check with supervisor to determine parts to be made.  Process and ship orders that are complete; Perform daily check on production-related materials to be ordered; Communicate with supervisor to facilitate daily rush orders and general order status; Clean shipping area; Use computers to access, verify and input information; Communicate with individuals in various departments; Meet established productivity levels, quality standards and deadlines; Cross train and work in all warehouse areas; Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required; Follow appropriate safety precautions; Maintain orderly and clean work station; Participate in continuous improvement effort; Assist others as directed by Warehouse Supervisor; Assist Warehouse Supervisor as directed; Perform other duties as required.

Staff Accountant (Hybrid)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to support the close process
  • Mange Sales tax compliance for multiple states
  • Compute state taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing and applying cash receipts.
  • Manage collection process for past due accounts
  • Research and resolve exceptions between sales transactions & cash
  • Daily Cash Management
  • Assists in special projects such as research and analy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  •  Associate degree from an accredited Community College with primary major of study in accounting;
    Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting emphasis preferred.
  • 3 -5 years’ work experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or Accountant.

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare & distribute Customer Invoices; enter invoice details in various on-line portals.
  • Process incoming payments in ERP (Epicor)
  • Maintain Check Register and record all cash transactions in the ERP system
  • Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Support Customer Service with new account set-up and resolve invoicing issues
  • Manage sales tax compliance
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers
  • Comply with financial and tax policies and regulations
  • Prepare cash budget forecasts
  • Month end general accounting responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.

Provide support throughout all production departments.

Production Planner/Scheduler I

Weekday Shift 5:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday

SUMMARY:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules utilizing computer scheduling software to ensure daily production requirements meet customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Check, analyze and verify the availability of material and tools; Create daily schedules by prioritizing orders.; Route work to minimize machine time and set up; Arrange for the movement of material and parts from stockrooms to work stations or between processing departments; Utilize MRP to create master schedules based on customers’ orders or instructions; Follow-up with Customer Service, purchasing and production staff to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation; Interact with production supervisors daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing gaps; Complete status reports regarding production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory; Meet established scheduling productivity/accuracy levels and deadlines; Participate in continuous improvement effort; Maintain orderly and clean work station; Use computers to access and input information; Cross train in all scheduling areas; Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required; Follow appropriate safety precautions; Assist others as directed by Supervisor; Assist Supervisor as directed; Performs other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Can independently coordinate work between multiple staff members across departments.
· Ability to identify root cause of scheduling issues and potential paths forward to resolution.
· Strong communication skills as needed to escalate production issues impacting the execution of schedules.
· Basic math skills.
· Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel).
· Two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· One year of MRP system experience preferred.
