SUMMARY:

Entry level position preparing bones for shipping and/or assembly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to grasp and operate hand tools for most or all of shift, ability to sit or stand in one place for most or all of shift, ability to handle or operate both regular and sharp instruments or machines safely, ability to attend to detail, ability to see close up, peripherally, and have depth perception, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with glue, ability to meet quota, ability to move product in totes up to thirty pounds, ability to understand and use basic computers and touch screens, and high school diploma or equivalent.

Assembler

Day Shift 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. M-F
(Grade 25, Starting wage: $13.19 per hour)

SUMMARY:

Assembles individual parts into specific models to match the master or in accordance with specified model.  Also fractures models per masters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to grasp individual parts all of shift, ability to operate hand tools for part of shift, ability to sit and/or stand in one place for most or all of shift, ability to handle sharp instruments safely, ability to attend to detail, ability to see close up, peripherally, and have depth perception, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with adhesives, ability to lift and move product/totes up to fifty pounds, ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately throughout the shift, ability to meet and maintain quota, ability to  work independently and or as a team member, high school diploma or equivalent.

Production Molder I - (Foam Molding)

Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
(Grade 25, Starting wage: $13.19 per hour)

SUMMARY:

Makes artificial plastic products using molds in one or more of the following areas: Box press, bag press, composite, spine, menisci, cortical, flex foam and silicone areas. Uses injection machine and/or other methods to fill molds with material. De-molds and inspects product. Cleans and lubricates molds, injectors and blenders as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to frequently grasp, open, close, and move molds using hands and wrists, ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. and frequently lift up to approximately 30 lbs., ability to constantly stand, ability to frequently walk within department, ability to push, pull, pry, bend, squat and reach throughout the shift, ability to frequently see up close, peripherally and have depth perception in order to inspect product, ability to constantly recognize different colors of resins and materials used in production, ability to frequently perform repetitive routine production procedures accurately throughout the shift, ability to frequently use blenders, dispensing machines and air presses, ability to use fiberglass, silicone and other plastics, ability to use pigments, ability to consistently meet quota, ability to cross train and rotate to all molding areas, ability to understand and use different types of basic computers and touch screens, possesses high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older.

Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Swing Shift: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
(Grade 27, Starting wage: $17.81 per hour)

SUMMARY:

First level of maintenance mechanic. Spends majority of time assisting more experienced maintenance mechanic to keep plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. On the job training provided by experienced maintenance mechanic.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Technical knowledge and ability to maintain production and facilities equipment, knowledge and ability to use machine shop tools such as lathes, drill presses, mills, welding equipment, knowledge of basic shop safety, ability to work safely, ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to frequently grasp, open, close, and move tools using hands and wrists, ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. and frequently lift up to approximately 30 lbs., ability to constantly stand, ability to frequently walk, ability to push, pull, pry, bend, squat and reach throughout the shift, ability to frequently see up close, peripherally and have depth perception, ability to hear and discern specific sounds, ability to attend to detail, ability to adapt during unpredictable situations, ability to work independently, ability to complete daily task list, ability to understand and use different types of basic computers and touch screens, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with adhesives, possess technical and mechanical curiosity, possess high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older.
