Trimmer II – Silicone
Day Shift: 1 position 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
(Grade 25, Wage range: $13.19 – 15.17 per hour)
Summary: Prepares silicone parts for shipping and/or assembly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to grasp and operate hand tools for most or all of shift, ability to sit or stand in one place for most or all of shift, ability to handle or operate both regular and sharp instruments or machines safely, ability to attend to detail, ability to see close up, peripherally, and have depth perception, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with glue, ability to meet quota, ability to move product in totes up to thirty pounds, ability to understand and use basic computers and touch screens, and high school diploma or equivalent.

Assembler II – Silicone
Day Shift: 1 position 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
(Grade 26, Wage range: $14.33 – 16.84 per hour)
Summary: Assembles individual parts into more complex assemblies to match the master or SOP.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Reviews master, SOP, bill of material, job traveler and any supporting paperwork to ensure parts are properly assembled.
- Checks parts for quality and prepares them for assembly.
- Follows master or SOP to assemble parts. This assembly may include drilling, sanding, painting, gluing, and other related tasks.
- Ensures assemblies comply with quality requirements.
- Involved in continuous improvement effort.
- Maintains orderly and clean work station, and vacuums area at end of shift.
- Completes daily log documenting work completed and any issues that affected cost, quality, delivery or safety.
- May trim and patch parts.
- May require precision dremel work, including hand fracturing bones.
- May use robotic work cell to support assembly tasks.
- May require use of gloves for some tasks.
- Performs other duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, ability to grasp individual parts all of shift, ability to operate hand tools for part of shift, ability to sit and/or stand for most or all of shift, ability to handle sharp instruments safely, ability to attend to detail, ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines while still producing an exceptional product, ability to see close up, peripherally, and have depth perception, ability to work with urethanes, epoxies, silicones and other plastics, ability to work with adhesive paints and pigments, ability to work with chemicals, ability to lift and move product/totes up to fifty pounds, ability to use equipment such as dremels, knives, drills, sanders, band saw, cutters, grinders, ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately throughout the shift, ability to meet and maintain quota, ability to work independently and or as a team member, high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older, anatomical terminology and understanding of anatomical reference points as they pertain to the human body helpful, previous assembly or related experience helpful, basic computer skills helpful.
