Ready for your next device or procedure demonstration in the office, at the show or on the road.
This versatile knee holder was designed for demonstrating and training total knee arthroplasty, just about anywhere. This system holds large knee models firmly in place while allowing tibial alignment systems to register on the foot as well as for using surgical navigation systems to digitize the medial and lateral malleolus. The simple bone clamp allows for the securing of the femur/tibia or can easily be moved out of the way when not needed. This system also allows for you to rotate the hip through its range of motion for surgical navigation techniques.
The Sawbones TKS is designed to firmly hold practice bones in a surgical position so that surgeons can practice various approaches and procedures for the total knee replacement including surgical navigation. For medical device manufacturers it allows easy and effective demonstrations of their total knee replacement device innovations in multiple field settings. The foot position can easily be changed to adjust the surgical cutting position of the knee.
The TKS works with standard Sawbones Knee Models (#1145 large or #1179 medium) that pop right in to a rubber acetabulum. This also provides accurate hip rotation so you can simulate various approaches and procedures.
Sawbones custom soft tissue foot holds the knee model firmly and allows for the use of a tibial external alignment rod for cutting guides and for surgical navigation systems to digitize the medial and lateral malleolus.
Our all metal, powder-coated super clamp has long arms and a deep throat to work in most every situation and with any table you’ll find on the road, at the show or in the office.
